This was an interesting challenge. The Toyota F1 team in Germany approached us with the brief "We want a lightweight portable table in a briefcase that will hold two laptops and a battery pack."
All this and we only had three months to design and supply finished units for the start of the season.
The final engineered solution was constructed using cross drilled anodised aluminium and lots of carbon fibre. The Grid Stand was designed, prototyped, evaluated, and manufactured right here at Cube3.
